This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data on our website https://autosecuro.ch (hereinafter “website”) by Groupstema AG, Eglisau, Switzerland (hereinafter “we” or “us”) and provides information about the rights to which you are entitled. 3. Data collection on this website

A. When placing an order (e-commerce)

When you order in our online shop, we collect the following data:

  • Order data: first name, surname, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number (optional), payment data.
  • Purpose: processing of the purchase contract, delivery and invoicing (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
  • Storage period: This data is stored for the duration of the business relationship and beyond in accordance with the statutory retention obligations.

B. Customer account

You can create a customer account in order to place future orders more quickly. The data (name, address, email) is stored in our database. You can have your account deleted at any time, provided that no contractual relationship exists and the statutory retention period has expired.

C. Payment data (third parties)

We use external payment service providers such as WORLDLINE. We do not store complete credit card data on our servers. Data is transmitted directly to the service provider.

3.1 Log files

Our website is hosted by Novatrend Services GmbH, Bahnhofstrasse 18, CH-6340 Baar, Switzerland.

To optimise and maintain our website, we log technical errors that may occur when accessing our website. Furthermore, when using this website, information is automatically collected that the browser of your device transmits to our host provider. This is:

  • IP address and operating system of your device
  • browser type, version, language
  • date and time of the server request
  • the file accessed
  • the website from which the access was made (referrer URL)
  • the status code (e.g. 404) and
  • the transmission protocol used (e.g. HTTP/2).

This data is collected and stored by our host provider in order to optimise processes and procedures, in particular in connection with the use of our website and the security and stability of the computer system.

3.2 Contact form

If you use our contact form, we process the information you provide in the enquiry form in order to handle the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. As a rule, we require the following information:

  • Email
  • Telephone
  • Country
  • Message

We use the data you provide to answer your enquiry. Insofar as the GDPR is applicable, the basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

3.3 Cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small files that are stored on your device and saved by your browser. Some of the cookies we use are automatically deleted when you leave our website. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them or until they expire. These cookies make it possible to recognise your browser on your next visit to our website.

We use an analytics service to measure the reach of our newsletter. It measures how often the newsletter is opened and which links the recipient follows.

3.6 Registration

If you open an account on our website (function not yet available), the information you enter is stored. We collect all the information provided in the form.

4. External services

On our website we use various third-party services. Below we set out in detail which services are involved, what we use them for and which data is collected.

The integration of external services can be delicate according to current European case law. The transfer of personal data to external providers (example: analytics, advertising, CDN, fonts, videos, etc.) should be analysed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Disclosure of data to third parties

In order to be able to offer you the information on our website, we work together with various service providers, in particular with IT service providers, so as to be able to offer you a contemporary website. These use your data only within the scope of order processing for us.

With the exception of the provisions in section 3.4 of this privacy policy, we only transfer data to entities outside Switzerland and the European Union (third country) without your consent insofar as this is necessary under the respective contract, for the fulfilment of legal obligations or to safeguard our legitimate interests.

You are entitled to enforce your claims in court or to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. For Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner is responsible.
